CSR-Vision
The CSR vision for the Denmark regions is to strengthen the relationship between the regional partners, and combine regional labour market policy, educational policy, environmental policy and economic policy to ensure sustainable development. Addressing the future challenge of creating a physical and virtual platform for partnerships, networks, competence development and knowledge management between the regions private and public companies is part of this challenge.
Political powers
The governments of the South Jutland and Ribe County have powers over subjects related to CSR in fields such as: knowledge and competence strategy; Social affairs, economy and education.
The threefold division of power between state, county and local authority is an old tradition in Denmark and in an international context Denmark has an extraordinary extensive local government autonomy. Denmark is divided into 14 counties and into 275 local authorities. Compared to other countries of the EU, Denmark has few and thus viable local government units.
