CSR-Vision

Andalusia has started working on CSR from a government perspective since this new political legislature (since April 2004). The 1st Conference on CSR was organised last January 2005 and, in May, this same year, another one on Legal and Economic aspects of CSR was celebrated. At the moment, the 1st Andalusian Congress on CSR it is being organised. This meeting will try to make businesses, social stakeholders, institutions and mass media conscious of the great importance of CSR.

There has also been created a Task Force that will develop the binomial employment-CSR, in the framework of the 6th Social Agreement signed by the regional Government economic and social partners, as we understand that CSR is the ideal tool to create better levels of employment in the region.

Political powers

The government of Andalusia has powers over subjects related to CSR in fields such as: Employment, Innovation, economy, Education, Social affairs and Environment.

Andalusia is an independent community. The specific starting point is the Statutory law 6/1981 (30th December, 1981), which is the Statute of Autonomy for Andalusia.
It has legislative and executive powers, as well as its own parliament.
