CSR Vaderegio is a platform for public policies for promotion of CSR at regional level. This European platform reflects the need for sharing as widely as possible the experience and good practices of CSR policies promoted by regional and local authorities.

The partnership is the core body of the CSR-Vaderegio community. It is constituted by two main groups (the steering and the reference groups) with different role and functions and type of organisations inside them. To be eligible as a member of the partnership, an interested organisation has to be local or regional authority, or a not for profit CSR organization that has close links with regional public authorities on CSR. Private bodies like consultants or companies are not eligible for the project as a partners.

STEERING GROUP
The steering group is the central body of CSR-Vaderegio. To avoid overburdening the public authorities, it is constituted solely by organizations of the third sector that have close links with regional public authorities on CSR.

The functions of the steering group are:

• To establish the objectives of the platform.
• To work and make the main decisions of the platform.
• To develop all the activities needed to accomplish the objectives of the project.
• To consult the reference group.
• To involve all the relevant participants and agents needed for the success of the platform.
• To take advice from the participants of the platform.
• To spread awareness and use of the platform.

REFERENCE GROUP
The reference group is the auxiliary body of CSR-Vaderegio. It is constituted solely by local or regional authorities.

The functions of the steering group are:

• To give advice to the working group.
• To verify the quality and suitability of the work and decisions made by the steering group.
• To suggest actions and changes to the steering group.
• To involve all the relevant participants and agents needed for the success of the platform.
• To take advice from the participants of the platform.
• To be the communication channel (the intermediary) with other public authorities.
• To inform steering group about relevant CSR-issues regarding public authorities.
• To take part in the activities and the events designed and arranged by the steering group.
• To diffuse the platform.

PARTICIPANT GROUP (PUBLIC AUTHORITIES)

The Participant Group is a part of CSR-Vaderegio Community and is constituted solely by Public Authorities, (local, regional or other). Its main functions include:

• To take part in the activities and the events designed and arranged by CSR-Vaderegio partnership.
• To give feedback to the CSR-Vaderegio partnership.
• To involve all the relevant participants and agents needed for the success of the platform.
• To inform CSR-Vaderegio partnership about important CSR-issues regarding public authorities.
• To diffuse the platform.

PARTICIPANT GROUP (OTHER ORGANIZATIONS)

Are public or private bodies which are not eligible to be partners of the project (including some previous partners). The functions of other participants are:

• To inform CSR-Vaderegio partnership about important CSR-issues.
• To take part in the activities and the events designed and arranged by CSR-Vaderegio partnership.
• To diffuse the platform.
